Album cover
It seems the ‘hope and praying’ of David Brooks, popularly know as Mavado is paying off. Long standing band against the entertainer, which prohibits him from entering the South American country GEORGETOWN, Guyana has been lifted.
Mavado was banned due to his lyrics promoting gang violence and anti-gay sentiments according to Presidential Adviser Odigna Lumumba.
Jamaican cultural officials reportedly lobbied for the ban to be lifted last month when Guyana President Bharrat Jagdeo visited the Caribbean island, but Lumumba declined to comment on the reason for the reversal.
Now after a year and a half,Lumumba said Friday that Mavado can perform in Guyana as scheduled on September 18 and 19.

“Who badda, di son or di fadda?”
Toilet paper by Vybz Kartel
Wata tune by Bounty Killer
Bounty Killer, has seemed to heard just about enough slandering of his name n sexual orientations fom his prodigal son Vybz Kartel. Vybz Kartel, the emperor of the infamous Portmore Empire, has thrown a few lyrical punches at the Aliance at large in a song called “When since”. In the song, he labels Bounty Killer as one to indulge in oral sexual acts, …lines from “When Since” by Vybz Kartel “Pu**y mouth killa cah diss mi” and “killa mi nah stop seh yuh suck pu**y and yuh cah diss mi.”
Kartel has now made a song solely for Bounty Killer called Toilet Paper. The killer counteracts with Wata tune, the question remains,
“Who badda, di son or di fadda?”
