Over ten of her wonderful songs are all slated to be put on her debut album. These original written performances are of high quality. How can one define Mye Laurells style-She calls herself the Mary J. Blige of reggae music. Why? She explains that she sings for the young at heart but mature in mind. Whichever category style reggae it may be, Mye Laurell sings from the heart because she usually identifies with her material.. She’s versatile and loves musical challenges.

Mye Laurells music has already been well received in Europe, Canada, USA, and all over the world via the internet. She has been placed on New Jerseys Roadblock Radios Pump-it-or-Dump it segments resulting in a unanimous PUMP IT! First for her single Wanting You remix with artist Delly Ranx (producer Anthony Malvo) and second for her single Sexy Rock (producer Fleximus-Prime of The Netherlands). Honorable mention is a strong conscious song suggesting that we internalize social issues called Be Stronger. She’s been mentioned on Link UP Radio, CEO David A. aka “Squeeze”. She’s been played on Canadian radio sounding so established that she was mistaken for Cecile. After much prompting Mye Laurell decided to proceed to follow the path of becoming a reggae music star. She wasn’t fazed by the amount of uprising females in the business; she’s a confident woman with talent and beauty and so entered boldly. She’s worked extensively with Ed Robinson in New York region and previously recorded another song with well-recognized producer Danny Champagne called Your Night which Detroit Dancehall Queen Competition once used as their theme song. Very recently she’s been placed on the ‘Clean Sweep Riddim’ compilation, a production of Boardhouse Records with a song called ‘Love mi man Bad’ released in 2009.
